Pollen and air quality, near you
Food allergies and pollen allergies often go together. askadèle now shows, every day on the home screen, pollen levels and air quality in your town, for today, tomorrow and the day after.
Free, no ads, no sign-up.

What you see in the app
- On the home screen: a “Pollen · your town” line with today’s level and the state of the air.
- A detailed page over three days: 6 pollens (birch, grasses, alder, olive, mugwort, ragweed), from lowest to highest, and the air quality index.
- Your pollens first: tick the pollens you are allergic to in your profile; they move to the top and the home screen tells you when their level rises.
How to turn it on
Choose your town
With “Locate me”, or by typing its name or postcode. It is saved on your phone.
Tick your pollens
In your profile, or when you create it, together with your food allergies. It is optional.
Look at the home screen
Today’s level appears every time you open the app.
Where do the forecasts come from?
Official indices from Atmo France and the approved air quality monitoring associations (AASQA). When they publish no forecast, for example outside pollen season, askadèle uses forecasts from the European Copernicus programme (CAMS). The source is always shown below the forecasts.
These indices do not replace your doctor’s advice. For good habits during pollen season, see sante.fr (in French).
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Pollen and air quality are free and work without signing up.
Which pollens are covered?
Six of the most allergenic pollens in France: birch, grasses, alder, olive, mugwort and ragweed.
Are my allergies sent anywhere?
No. Only your town’s code is used to get the forecasts. Your allergies, including your pollens, stay on your phone.
What about winter?
Outside the season, pollen is at its lowest: the app keeps showing air quality, and pollen as soon as it returns.
